Elizeth Arguelles 鈥�20 honored as a "Global Woman of Excellence"

Elizeth Arguelles 鈥�20 has been recognized by U.S. Congressman Danny K. Davis as one of the 鈥�Top 20 Global Women of Excellence 2021.鈥� She was honored at a March 7 ceremony in Naperville, Illinois. The theme of the event was Women in Leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 World.
Elizeth is an advocate for social responsibility and a Lead Organizer with , an organization that develops young community leaders and promotes peace in Chicago. Increase the Peace was founded by fellow Dominican 咪咪爱视频 Berto Aguayo 鈥�16.
In June 2020, Elizeth was interviewed by WGN-TV after the Supreme Court rejected an order to rescind DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals). Elizeth, a DACA recipient, said the SCOTUS decision is an important win.
